Beryl: Aquamarine and Morganite Beads

Beryl is a colorless mineral which is often tinted by impurities and as a result, it changes name change with every color change. The blue variety is called aquamarine, which means water of the sea, while the green one is known as the emerald. Aquamarine varies in color from light blue to dark blue and occurs in turquoise too.

Pink beryl on the other hand is called Morganite and varies from peachy to rose and light pink and may even be striped. It owes its name to the American financier J.P. Morgan.
